The ICOM IC-R6 is an improved version of the ICOM IC-R5. Improvements incorporate faster scanning (100 channels per second), better battery life (up to 15 hours), more memories, voice control squelch and optional drop-in charger. Earphone cord acts as antenna for AM aviation as well as FM broadcasts.
