Desktop Shortwave Transceiver
The SEG 100 (SEG = Sende - Empfang Gerät) made by the East German RFT company was intended for both military and marine use and is very similar to the RFT SEG 15. It requires 24V DC, but converters for both 12V DC and 110/220V AC were available.
Tuning is done with 4 decade switches in 1 kHz steps. A clarifier tunes an additional +/- 500 Hz.
