ICOM IC-R9500 reviews

I do a massive amount of swl activity (also a ham - W2FKN). Features are almost overwhelming. Only have a Comet diploe (CHV-5X) at 25' and an indoor discone. Coupled receiver to an external Acer monitor for improved spectral resolution - changed colors, etc. Phenomenal resolution throughout. Label sites, FM stations, etc. with radio. I can tune out and resolve anything - even cw pile-ups from DX with no effort! Yes the toy cost me $13,000, but is worth every penny. Never saw such packaging, instructions, and overall info. Positively 1st class throughout. This picks up anything that emits a signal - use it daily!
