The National NC-270 covers the ham bands from 80 to 6 meters (no general coverage). An external speaker is required, like the NTS-3.
I had an NC-270 back in 1965 and loved the nice big easy to read slide rule dial. Personally I find the straight dial easier to read than the curved ones. The selectivity is good for the way I use a radio though I wouldn't go into a deep pile up with this rig. Fun to use and own, I had one in 1965 and just got another one in 2011. Great radio!
