I bought this rig, used, for around a fourth or fifth of it's original price. It's easy to operate, with 'usual' controls on realistic scanners. The coverage was always the reason I wanted one. It covers the air band, cival & military for air shows, agreat deal of ham bands and a bit more. 25 - 520MHz, 760 - 1300MHz. Ease of operation is another of the main features, the buttons are well set out, and you don't have to be a stenographer to use them. Frequency steps are changeable during search, and they flash to remind you that you've changed them. You can also change modes between AM,NFM, and WFM. Plenty to keep busy with, lots to listen to, and easy to use.
