The Yaesu FT-600 combines the straightforward, practical layout of a commercial radio with the most-often-used features on the front panel. The simplicity of the front panel design includes two Up/Down buttons for frequency, memory, and band stepping, while four knobs control Clarifier, Volume, Squelch, and Tuning. Popular features include Direct Frequency Entry Keypad for quick QSY. 100 Watts Power output — the benchmark for amateur HF operation. And MIL-STD 810 — to meet rugged commercial-grade construction standards.

Front-Facing Speaker
For outdoor operation where noise is present, the front-facing speaker significantly improves the audio readability for the user.

100 Memory Channels
The memories are arranged in banks of 25 channels each, allowing you to sweep through them efficiently when seconds count.

Alpha-Numeric Display
An Alpha-Numeric label may be appended to a memory channel, to aid in channel recognition.

MIL-STD 810 Rating
The FT-600 meets the exacting requirements of the U.S. military's specificaitons for shock and vibration, ensuring you of reliability under difficult operating conditions.
