The STANDARD C-7800 is a single-band radio for UHF 430-440 MHz. It was built in the early 1980's. It is a solid and simple-to-use mobile-radio with ergonomic design including tone-call, repeater-shift, 10 W RF-power, band-scan and common VCO for RX and TX. This radio has no CTCSS-option, no DTMF-option and no 12,5 kHz-step. Helicals in the receiving-unit provide very good intermodulation-parameter. On many of those radios modding for 9k6-packet was done. This model has 5 memory channels and 1 direct frequency button (433.500 MHz).
