Founded in 1971, Kantronics has earned a worldwide reputation for superior wireless data controllers. During the 1970's and 1980's they made a number of small form-factor, mobile HF-radios for the amateur market.
The KT-series of transceivers are all basically the same radio, but tuned to different amateur radio bands. All rigs put out 20 watts and share the same front panel design.
Kantronics is still active and produces wireless, digital data communications equipment.
