EFJohnson Company is founded in Waseca, Minnesota by 24-year-old Edgar F. Johnson in the year 1923. The company begins as a mail order business, selling radio transmitting parts to amateurs and early radio broadcasters. EFJohnson is best known for its Viking series from the 1950s and 1960s.
