Semcoset Est. 1965 , closed 1985 | Germany

In the middle 1960's Lausen + Co. from Hildesheim, Germany, began offering modular components to the amateur radio community. Modules offered where 2m/10m converters, audio amplifiers, small 2m AM transmitters and others. The name Semcoset first appeared in the company's history in 1965.

The latest Semcoset transceivers where released in 1977. These where the Semco-Selecto and the Semco-Roto-S. Due to their Schottky-diode mixing stage they offered too little in terms of frequency stability for amateur radio operators. It is believed the company continued producing ham equipment until the mid 1980's.
