The Yaesu FT-2600M packs a high power transceiver in a small and affordable rig. Receive coverage is 134-174 MHz with up to 60 watts power output. You get an extensive memory system with 170 regular memories, two pairs of sub-band limit memories and an instant recall home memory. CTCSS encode/decode are built-in.
The ARTS - Auto Range Transpond System used DCS to allows two radios to track each other every 30 seconds, allowing the FT-2600M to advise field hand-helds when they have more out of communications range. A supply voltage display shows you the supply voltage for one second when you turn the radio on. Your FT-2600M is ready for Packet 1200/9600 with a DB9F data jack on the back for transmit data, receiver audio, PTT and ground (optional TNC required).
The supplied MH-36B6J hand mic includes three programmable keys and can be used for direct frequency entry. This radio is PC programmable using the optional ADMS2E programming kit.
