The Alinco DJ-493J is a handheld UHF transceiver. It covers 430-440 MHz for both receive and transmit with a frequency stability of ± 5 p.p.m. The receiver system is a double conversion superheterodyne with IF frequencies of 1st: 45.1 MHz and 2nd: 455 kHz. Image rejection is greater than 60 dB. RF output is selectable between high (4 W) and low (? mW). Audio output is greater than 200 mW (8Ω). It features 1 memory bank with 40 channels.
