RF output power is selectable: High (2 W at 6 VDC, 400 mW at 2.4 VDC) or Low (500 mW at 6 VDC, 150 mW at 2.4 VDC). It has 1 memory bank with 100 channels and features CTCSS and PC programmability. The transceiver weighs 162 gr with batteries and antenna. Dimensions are 98 × 57 × 28 mm. Power requirements are 2R6/AA or Li-Ion pack, as well as 3-6V DC external. Current drain in transmit is 0.45-1 A.
