It employs a double conversion superheterodyne receiver system with IF frequencies of 1st: 10.7 MHz and 2nd: 455 kHz. The PSR-200 features weather alert/SAME/FIPS/Skywarn and has 1 memory bank with 200 channels. It requires a power supply of 9 V DC and draws a current of 50 mA when receiving (squelched).
