The ICOM IC-32E is a handheld VHF/UHF transceiver. It covers 144-146 / 430-440 MHz for both receive and transmit. The radio features a double-conversion superheterodyne receiver system with IF frequencies of 1st: 30.875 MHz, 2nd: 455 kHz. RF output power is selectable between High (5.5/5 W) and Low (1/1 W). Audio output is greater than 400 mW at 10% distortion with an 8 Ω load. The IC-32E has 1 memory bank with 20 channels. It operates on a 7.2-13.2 V DC battery pack or 12-15 V DC external power.
