The ICOM IC-Q7E is a handheld VHF/UHF transceiver. It covers 30-1300 MHz in receive and 144-146 / 430-440 MHz in transmit. Frequency stability is ± 6 p.p.m. Tuning steps are selectable from 5 to 100 kHz. The receiver system is a triple conversion superheterodyne with IF frequencies of 1st 266.7 MHz, 2nd 19.65 MHz and 3rd 450 kHz. Image rejection is ≥ 60 dB (amateur bands only). RF output is 350/300 mW. Audio output is 100 mW at 15% distortion with an 8 Ohm load. The IC-Q7E features 1 memory bank with 200 channels. Power requirements are 3V DC / 2 × AA (L6). Current drain is 38-170 mA in receive and max 440 mA in transmit. Dimensions are 86 × 58 × 27 mm. The radio weighs 170 gr including battery and antenna.
