The Kenwood TH-45E is a handheld UHF transceiver. It covers 430-440 MHz for both transmit and receive. The radio features a double conversion receiver system with IF frequencies of 1st: 30.825 MHz, 2nd: 455 kHz. RF output power is selectable between High: 5 W and Low: 0.5 W. It requires 6-16V DC power and has a current drain of 17-100 mA in receive and a maximum of 1.8 A in transmit. The TH-45E weighs 400 gr with PB-6 and measures 138 × 58 × 30 mm with PB-6.
