The Kenwood TS-130S follows in the tradition of the successful Kenwood TS-120S. It is designed for SSB and CW modes in the 80 through 10 meter ham bands, and additionally includes the 30, 17 and 12 meter WARC bands. Other enhancements over the Kenwood TS-120S include a Wide-Narrow bandwidth switch and speech processor. Plus the TS-130 series is compatible with the optional DFC-230 Digital Frequency Controller. All solid-state technology is input rated at 200 PEP on SSB, 160W DC on CW. The TS-130S features a 100 Hz digital display with analog subdial. (This transceiver does not have general coverage receive).
The Kenwood TS-130V is a QRP version providing 25W PEP SSB, 20W CW.
