The Standard C-50D is a desktop VHF/UHF transceiver. It covers 144-146 / 430-440 MHz for both receive and transmit. The receiver system uses a double-conversion superheterodyne design with IF frequencies of 1st: 21.8 MHz (2 m), 47.05 MHz (70 cm) and 2nd: 455 KHz (2 m/70 cm). Image rejection is 65 dB on 2 meters and 60 dB on 70 centimeters. RF output power is selectable as High: 50/40 W, Medium: 5/5 W, or Low: 1/1 W. It features 1 memory bank with 33 channels. The C-50D requires 13.8V DC or mains power and weighs 11.5 kg. Dimensions are 109 × 362 × 365 mm. Remote control, CTCSS and DTMF options are included. Current drain is 1.3 A on receive and a maximum of 12 A on transmit.
