The Yaesu FT-212RH is a mobile VHF transceiver. It covers 144-146 MHz (Europe) or 144-148 MHz (USA) for both receive and transmit. The radio has selectable tuning steps of 5, 10, 12.5, 20, or 25 kHz. RF output power is switchable between high (45 W) and low (5 W). It requires 13.8V DC power and draws 300-500 mA in receive mode and a maximum of 10 A in transmit mode. Dimensions are 40 × 140 × 160 mm and the weight is 1.25 kg.
