Quote: "The HE-35 was as poor a receiver as ever found in a 6 meter radio. No sensitivity and broad as a barn. The transmitter used 3rd overtone crystals that even back in 1960 were super expensive. It also drifted up the band due to the excessive crystal current of the rudimentary transmitter design."

The HE-35 was sold for about USD 50 back in the 1960's.
