The Fairhaven RD500 is a desktop HF/VHF/UHF scanner/receiver. It covers 0.01-36 MHz and 48-1750 MHz. The receiver system is double conversion superheterodyne with IF frequencies of 1st: 45.000 MHz and 2nd: 455 kHz. It has SSB filters at 2.4 kHz, Wide AM filters at 6 kHz, and Narrow FM filters at 12.5 kHz. The audio output is 2W. It features 234 memory banks and 54682 memory channels. It is PC programmable (RS-232) and has remote control capability. Dimensions are 65 × 205 × 193 mm. It requires 12V DC and draws 500mA in receive mode.
