The Racal TRA-967 was primarily designed as a manpack but can be used as a fixed or as a vehicle station. Provides VHF Narrow Band FM Transmission and Reception in the 36-76 MHz frequency range with 25 kHz channel spacing. A total of 1600 synthesiser-controlled channels are available with in the frequency range, includes a pre-tuned antenna-matching unit. Power output more than 1 Watt. Quick frequency selection using rotary controls. The four frequency digits are illuminated by Tritium Beta Lights, which do not require a power supply. Re-broadcast facilities are also incorporated within the set. The TRA-967 is completely sealed and is Rust and Waterproof. Operates from 12V DC Battery.
