The Uniden UBC245XLT is similar to the Uniden-Bearcat BC245XLT, but differs on some points:
- limited coverage on VHF (66-88 MHz against 29-54 MHz)
- 12.5 kHz steps on VHF (137-174 MHz)
- continuous 800 MHz band, 12.5 kHz steps

The only features making this receiver stand out is the Trunk Tracking capability and PC programmability. This receiver is not CE approved for Europe.
