The Kojinsha KL-1 is a massive, rigid floor mounted linear amplifier. A separate Control Unit can be placed up to 20 meters from the floor console (standard cable is 7m). The KL-1 is controlled from your transceiver using an RS-232 interface. Compatible radios include the Kenwood TS-950, TS-2000, TS-590, etc. The Yeasu FTDX-9000, FTDX-5000, FT-2000, etc. And the ICOM IC-7800, IC-7700 IC-7600, etc.
A USB interface on the control unit allows full control from a PC.
In size, the KL-1 reminds of the E.F. Johnson Desk Kilowatt built over 50 years ago.
