The Standard Horizon HX600 is a handheld transceiver. It covers 156.025 - 163.275 MHz for both receive and transmit. The radio features an RF output of 1 / 2.5 / 5 W and audio output of 700 mW. It has 1 memory bank with 40 channels. The HX600 is submersible, IPX7 (3 ft for 30 min), and includes a distress signalling strobe light, backlit keypad, extra large display, NOAA Weather Alert, DSC Distress Equipped Interface, AM/FM radio and aircraft band receive. An optional GPS is available.
