The Daiwa MT-20 is a handheld VHF transceiver. It covers 144-146 MHz for both receive and transmit. The receiver system is a double conversion superheterodyne with IF frequencies of 10.695 MHz / 455 kHz and tuning steps of 5 kHz. RF output is selectable between 150 mW and 1.5 W. Audio output is 500 mW. Power requirements are 5.5-11 V DC. The current drain is 150 mA in receive mode and 550 mA max in transmit mode. Dimensions are 158 × 60 × 38 mm.
