The Tempo SYNCOM S1 is a handheld VHF transceiver. It covers 144-148 MHz for both receive and transmit. The receiver system utilizes a PLL synthesizer with 65 dB image rejection. RF output is ≥ 1.5 W and audio output is 0.5 W @ 10% THD. It features 1 memory bank with 800 channels. Power requirements are 9.6 V DC (8 × NiCd). Dimensions are 165 × 62 × 40 mm. Current drain is 17 mA in receive and 400 mA max in transmit.
