The Kenwood TS-500 is a 10-80 m transceiver in 7 bands. Frequency stability is less than 100 Hz after 30 minute warm-up, and less than 2 kHz in the first hour of operation. Tuning steps are continuous. Image rejection is ≥ 60 dB. RF output is 160 W (input) on 15-80 m and 120 W (input) on 10 m. Audio output is > 1 watt (with 10% distortion). The transceiver requires mains power with the PS-500AC. Dimensions are 220 × 330 × 300 mm.
