The Whistler WS1095 is a scanner/receiver with a frequency range of 25-54 / 108-174 / 216-512 / 764-960 / 1240-1300 MHz. It features a triple conversion superheterodyne receiver system with IF frequencies of 1st: 380.8 MHz, 2nd: 21.4 MHz and 3rd: 455 kHz. The WS1095 has an audio output of 500 mW and includes 1 memory bank with 1800 channels. It supports Motorola, LTR and EDACS trunking. Other features include a spectrum sweeper, weather channels, object oriented memory and 200 scanlists. Dimensions are 45 × 180 × 135 mm.
