Michael Dismuke's shack

Just getting started in 'the hobby' aspect of radio. I spent 23 years in the service in radio communications. After getting out I kind of stepped away from it all. I'd like to get back into it. Starting with what is most affordable, CB. However, it's hit or miss and I've been getting a lot of miss. Lots of dead air. I need to take my tests and get some better equipment.

I've got a Johnson Messenger 130A (telephone) in my 1971 Volvo 142, I think it's cool and nostalgic looking. Trying to find something equally cool for my 1979 Volvo 262 Bertone. I may just try and find another 130A and have it died black.

It has come to my attention that I have a lot of older stuff that is not listed here. in addition to what I have listed in my shack, I need add some of my older stuff that isn't listed here. I guess I could add a few pictures to my profile and go from there.
