GRE / GRECOM PSR-282 reviews

Gad my 282 for five years now, mostly for civil airband and marine. Allied to a Watson W-881 super gainere antenna, it is still doing sterling service at my QTH, robust enough to take into a rucksack and walk along the beach monitori8ng marine VHF. Generally great value for the money.

Not complicated, not needing a Master's Degree in programming, it is a no frills, belt and brtaces set that suits me.

While this doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles some scanners have, for the price, you can't get a better airband radio. With 8.33 kHz setting plus the basic increments it is an ideal starter scanner for anyone wanting to listen to airband plus the pmr frequencies. Build quality is basic but it can store 200 channels and has set scan frequencies including the airband.
