I found one of these in a junk shop near Concord NH in 1990 and another at a flea market at about the same time. gave them both away around 1992. The were very nice to operate and very pretty. I had rearranged crystals and bought new crystals to match the local area so when I moved away I left with with a worth ham.
Now, 2018, it would be expensive to crystal them (and to add PL tones) so even though they'd make pretty and iconic base stations for one or more local repeaters, I don't think I'd take one even for low money. Also, winter is coming.
