Kantronics KT-140 reviews

Had the luck to obtain a KT-140 in near perfect condition in a trade. I got a little over 20 watts PEP from this little jewel using the also rare Telex dual-tone hand microphone that came with it, into my Indoor 40 meter Dipole. I quickly made a couple of contacts on SSB with stations over 500 miles away and got excellent audio and signal reports back. The receiver was a bit noisy with no real filtering, but I was amazed at how it dug the weak signals out loud and clear. I cannot find anything bad to say about this rig and assume it will become a rare collectors item pretty soon.
