k2orsFantastic receiver in all respects. Excellent audio, very smooth vernier tuning dial, good strong signal handling (no overload or intermod whatsoever!). Built like a tank. Silver plated chassis inside. Pretty much the only boatanchor receiver I use anymore even though I have many many receivers. I agree with Fred Osterman - its the best vacuum tube receiver ever made - puts Collins to shame!
