The Comp-100 was Radio Shack's first programmable scanner. This scanner was introduced in 1977 before the RadioShack / Realistic Pro-2001. It was programmed in binary and one the most sensitive UHF scanners ever sold. Build quality was poor however and heat caused the PCB boards to swell and break vias. Introduction price was USD 399.95, but that was dropped to USD 299.95 almost immediately. USA Catalog Number: 20-110
