Compared with the previous Swan (Cubic) Astro-102BXA this model adds RTTY, a separate receive antenna input and all band coverage from 160 to 10 meters, including 10, 18 and 24.5 MHz.
I have had this radio for sometime. I have owned a lot of Swan radios over the years, but to me, this was the best of the lot. Very stable vfos and great audio. I was lucky to run across this radio. I traded my Drake TR7A and accessories to get it.....that is how much I think of this radio. I love the passband tuning and the receive audio is outstanding. I continually get compliments on the transmit audio as well. A great old time first generation solid state radio.
