For an old hf rig, it still holds it's own. It's a fun old radio to use with a darn good receiver for it's age and beats radios that are 20 years newer. For the money on the used market, it is a nice radio to have around for a backup or even your main rig if your not in need of all the latest bells and whistles.
Basic solid radio that works.
Amazing radio built in 1982. Cost of 290 from Ebay includes priority shipping.
What can I say about a 28 year old radio that performs almost as well as radios cost 10 times as much and up? It lacks bells and whistles but features all the included filters and the sound and receive is outstanding. Audio reports are unsolicited and am told is remarkable.
