Works Great for 2 Meter FM

My first radio when I got my Tech 8 years ago. I just use it now for casual QSO's, typically local nets. I built a 2 meter J-Pole out of 1/2 inch copper pipe, mounted it about 15 feet high, and am working repeaters up to 50 miles away with only 5 watts.
It's a bit difficult to program using just the radio itself, but probably no worse than other handhelds.
Zero problems, despite some rough treatment. If all you want is a 2 meter FM handheld radio this one would be hard to beat.
