Great receiver, excellent filters, noise suppression, very good transmit audio.
Lacks preset power for individual bands making transverter or amplifier use difficult.
No voice recorder. Great performance compromised by lack of features and inconvenience. It would have been easy to get a few more things right

I bought this in 1977. I was attracted by the economy: high mileage, stick shift.
How I wish I had made a different choice!

The rig was cheap, alright. Right from the start, the plastic pieces started breaking.
Antenna mount, rear window clip.

Then I developed a ping at light loads. The dealer refused to do anything about.

After a minor curb collision, the dealer messed up the front end so badly that I couls never get an alignment again. And this with double conversion!

Nissan again? NEVER.
