Clansman PRC-344 reviews

I purchased (2) sets over a year ago. They were operational from 220.0 to 400.0 MHz. They work great on the ham band 222.0 to 225.0 mhz. I believe a qualified tech could mod these rigs to cover the ham band 222.0 to 225.0.

This is an AM military airband radio, not FM.

It is only useable by authorized personnel on the assigned frequencies, so beware. I does, however make a great military ops monitor. Much more inexpensive than the Magnavox PRC-113, but limited to 50 KHz channels. Other than that, a very good value.
