The Alinco DR-119 is a mobile VHF transceiver. It covers 144-146 MHz (DR-119E) or 144-148 MHz (DR-119T). The receiver system is double conversion superheterodyne with IF frequencies of 1st: 10.7 MHz and 2nd: 455 kHz. RF output is selectable at 5 / 50 W. Audio output is 2 W into 8 ohm @ 10% THD. The DR-119 requires 13.8V DC power. It features a DTMF encoder (US version). Dimensions are 40 × 140 × 170 mm and the weight is 1.1 kg. Current drain is 0.5 A in receive mode and 10 A max in transmit mode.
