Bought this little receiver over two years ago and find it is a great receiver. As a registered ham radio operator I wanted a hand held radio that was as good as my main home transceiver yet small enough to fit in my jacket pocket. It has all the bands LW, AM SSB, FM, and VHF (Civil Air frequencies). All the short wave international transmissions come in very good , any fading of the signal is overcome by using the synchronous button. Stores 700 memories and has all the extras, (time, date, alarms. auto program search and others)
To sum up this Globe Traveler G3 has all that is required for the traveling person.
