The S-85 receiver is designed to operate from a 105-125 volt, 50-60 cycle AC power source.
The Universal model, the S-85U, is designed for operation from 110, 130, 150, 220, and 250 volt, 25-60 cycle AC sources.
The power selector switch on the S-85U is located on the top of the power transformer and is
accessible by opening the hinged top cover of the cabinet. This switch must be set to correspond with the voltage at the power outlet before plugging in the receiver. Failure to observe this precaution may result in serious damage.
