The Drake RR-2 receiver is a commercial grade communications receiver which employs solid state devices and circuity. It offers general coverage from 150 kHz to 30 MHz. The received frequency is indicated by a two-speed dial that has accurate calibrations every 1 kHz. Modular construction on easily accessible printed circuit boards is used throughout the RR-2. The use of dual gate MOS-FET transistors in the RR-2 circuity contribute to the superior inter-modulation, AGC, wide dynamic range and overload performance.
Basically a Drake RR-1 but with continuous coverage.
