The Standard Horizon HX400 is a handheld transceiver. It covers 134 - 174 MHz for reception and 156.025 - 163.275 MHz for transmission with channelized tuning steps. The radio has an RF output of 5 W and features 1 memory bank with 40 channels. It is powered by a 12 V DC - 2400mAh Lithium-Ion battery. The HX400 includes IPX8 waterproof rating, selectable transmit power (5 or 1 Watt), built-in noise cancelling, programmable channel names, NOAA Weather channels and Weather Alert, programmable Scan, Priority Scan and Dual Watch, and a preset key for recalling up to 10 favorite channels.
