The Chinese KN-850 is a QRP HF transceiver. The frequency range for reception is 30 kHz - 54 MHz and for transmission is 80-6 m. Tuning steps are selectable at 0.01, 0.1, 1, 10, or 100 kHz. The IF frequencies are: 1st: 45 MHz; 2nd: 12 MHz; 3rd: 455 kHz (FM-only). Image rejection is 70 dB. RF output power is 3-15 W. Audio output is through an internal speaker. It has 1 memory bank with 100 channels. Power requirements are 13.8 V DC. Current drain in receive mode is 700 mA and 4 A in transmit mode.
