The Sony ICF-6700L worldband receiver covers AM, FM (87.5-180 MHz) and shortwave coverage from 150-400 kHz, 1.6-10, 11.5-20 and 20-30 MHz. The radio has both analog and digital displays. The digital display does not function on the FM band and may be switched off. Features include: S/Battery Meter, AFC, Time Chart/Map, Bass & Treble, Wide/Narrow Selectivity and BFO for SSB/CW. The main tuning knob is velvet-smooth and has a fly wheel. Jacks are provided for headphones, earphone, record output and timer input. The rear panel has antenna terminals. May be operated from 110/120/220/240 V AC or six D cells.
The Sony ICF-6700W is similar but lacks support for the LW band.
