The ICOM IC-µ2A/AT/E is a handheld VHF transceiver. Frequency range for transmit and receive is 144-146 MHz (Europe), 144-148 MHz (Australia), or 140-150 MHz (USA / Asia). Frequency stability is ± 15 p.p.m. at o °C~60 °C with tuning steps of 5 / 12.5 kHz. Receiver system is double conversion superheterodyne with IF frequencies of 1st: 16.9 MHz and 2nd: 455 kHz. RF output is selectable between 0.1 / 1 W. Audio output is 250 mW into 8 Ohms. Current drain in receive mode is 6-170 mA, and 300-600 mA in transmit mode. Dimensions are 148 × 61 × 33 mm with BP-22. Weight is 340 gr with BP-22.
