Heathkit GC-1 ? Or GC-1A

Heathkit GC-1 'Mohican', Mobile Shortwave receiver

There was an earlier model, the GC-1. It MAY have used 6 C cells, but the GC-1A used 8. I know because I built one. I doubt they would have changed something like that in the middle of a model run.
